Online Registration for Returning Students
Registration for School Year 2026-2027
Online registration for students returning to Bensenville School District 2 for the 2026–2027 school year will begin Thursday, April 9. Families are encouraged to complete registration by May 1 so the District can begin preparing transportation routes. All registrations are completed through the District’s PowerSchool Student Information System, and parents must have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account to register. Completing registration on time helps the District finalize transportation routes on time and ensures students are ready for the start of the school year.
NEW Residency Requirement for Blackhawk Students
Students entering 6th grade at Blackhawk Middle School beginning the 2026-2027 school year will need to prove residency. Parents can upload information on the parent portal or bring it to the school office.
Moving out of District?
If your child will not be returning to Bensenville School District 2 next year, please complete the moving form below, and we will then prepare your child’s transfer paperwork and send it home in the last week of school.

How to Register for the 2026–2027 School Year
Follow the steps below to complete registration through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you do not know the username or email address linked to your account, please contact your child’s school.
- Go to bsd2.powerschool.com/public
- Select your preferred language in the “Sign In” tab.
- Enter your login information and click “Sign In.”
- Students linked to your account will appear across the top of the page. Select the student you want to register.
- Click the “Forms” icon in the navigation menu on the left.
- Select “2026-2027 Online Registration.”
- Update the Student Information section if needed.
- Answer the questions in the Parent/Guardian/Emergency Contact section.
- Update Parent/Guardian and Emergency Contacts as needed.
- Review Current Medical Conditions and add any updates.
- Update your family doctor and dentist information if needed.
- Enter your name in the Signature of Parent/Guardian section and click Submit.
- Complete the Household Income section and click Submit
- NEW FOR INCOMING 6TH GRADE STUDENTS: Proof of residency will be required. You will be able to upload and submit in PowerSchool.
Note: Each returning student must be registered. To register another student, select their name at the top of the page and repeat the steps above.
Linking Additional Students to Your Account
If your child’s name does not appear at the top of the page, the student is not yet linked to your Parent Portal account. You will need your student’s Access ID and Password to link them. If you do not have this information, please contact your child’s school.
