NAMI DuPage Mental Health Support for Parents & Caregivers (children under 18)

NAMI DuPage Mental Health Support for Parents & Caregivers (children under 18)

NAMI DuPage, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, offers a free, in-person monthly series for parents and caregivers of children under 18 at our Wheaton location. These interactive sessions give families a judgment-free place to ask questions, share concerns, and learn practical ways to support their child’s mental health.

Each session addresses the real-world challenges parents face—from understanding changes in their child’s mental health to knowing how to communicate, respond, and find additional support. Parents also receive practical take-home resources they can use long after the session ends.

Families with students in 8th–12th grade are also welcome to attend the Teen Connection Group, which meets at the same time.
