Get ready to take your taste buds on a global adventure! This year’s theme, Passport to Flavor, invites all Future Chefs to create an original recipe inspired by a country or culture from anywhere in the world. From spicy tacos to savory noodles to sweet international treats — the possibilities are endless!
Who Can Enter
Students in grades 1–5 are invited to create an original, kid-friendly recipe inspired by a country or culture from around the world — because eating healthy should be fun!
Judging Criteria
Recipes will be judged on originality, ease, healthy attributes, presentation, taste, and student presentation.
Finalists (3 per school) will compete in a live Cook-Off on March 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM at Blackhawk Middle School. Families are welcome to attend the reception and taste the creations!
Finalist Recognition
All finalists receive a plaque, T-shirt, apron, and chef hat. Winners advance to a national competition in April.
